2 People Having Trouble Finding Affordable Health Insurance

Affordable health insurance can be very difficult to find. For a student the time can be complicated because he or she is transitioning between family and personal coverage. Unemployed people also have huge problems around health insurance. Even when one has a job, that still does not guarantee health insurance though.

Affordable health insurance can be a very difficult thing to find for some people, especially students. Some students are lucky enough to be under their parent health care. Many health care providers offer coverage to children but have a cut off age. Sometimes the cut off age will last through a student’s entire college career. Other times it ends midway through a student’s stay in college. When this happens, sometimes a school will offer health care. This is usually the case when a school makes having health insurance mandatory. Because it can be so difficult for a student to find affordable health insurance, this can be a very attractive option. However in many cases, a school does not offer anything at all. Students going to a community college will often have a lot of difficulty finding health insurance.

Along with students, the unemployed often have a very hard time finding any affordable health insurance. Many people when they lose their jobs also lose their insurance. Sometimes they are lucky enough to have a severance time with benefits or even have the option of continuing their insurance with a particular company. Not everyone is so lucky however. Most people end up not having any insurance at all. In some states however you must have health insurance. An unemployment office often will have information for people on what types of affordable health insurance options are out there. This is not a fool proof system though and there are many people that fall through the cracks. There are all sorts of requirements that a person must meet and many people do not meet these requirements.

Although students and unemployed people have the roughest time finding affordable health insurance, anyone can have trouble finding affordable health insurance. There is a real problem in this country with health insurance and everyone is painfully aware of this. The news is full of stories everyday about problems, possible solutions and then arguments against those solutions. No one knows how health care is going to change but as it stands now there are hundreds of thousands of people that do not qualify for any health insurance at all. When people have so called pre-existing conditions like cancer, insurance companies will no longer deal with them. These unfortunately are the people that need health insurance the most.

UNAIDS and the WHO estimate that, as of December 2006, the number of people living with HIV has reached its highest level, at around 39.5 million. More than 25 million others have died of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) since it was first recognized in 1981, making the pandemic one of the most destructive in recorded history. HIV is typically transmitted through sex or intravenous drug use, and is often associated with marginalized groups such as gay men, drug users and sex workers. For these reasons, and also because of fears of contagion, people living with HIV are frequently subjected to stigma and discrimination. Publicity campaigns around the world have aimed to counter HIV-related prejudices and misconceptions and to replace them with an accurate understanding that helps to prevent new infections. These efforts have been greatly aided by various celebrities — including American basketball star Magic Johnson and South African judge Edwin Cameron — who have publicly announced that they are HIV-positive. Condoms are the best way to protect against HIV as well as other sexually-transmitted diseases such as herpes and condylomas. HIV is transmitted via mucus, wounds, used syringes and bodily fluids. Of these bodily fluids only 5 carry the disease from one person to another: blood, sperm, pre-seminal male secretions, vaginal secretions, and mother’s milk. Treatment exists to fight HIV. This treatment is called antiretroviral (ARV) therapy. It is not a cure. It …

1. Okay a couple of things first.
1. You use very too much and very evident is redundant language.
2. Try using citizens instead of people, as you are referring to a government problem.
3. Very much indeed is overtly redundant.
4. Hospitals can't care, it's the board, administrators, and greedy insurance companies. (I.E the people not the building)
5. We only have one president at a time. It's just the President of the United States.
6. How does this show anything? Elaborate!
7. Before it becomes corrupted, not corrupts.
8. Explain more on how cutting taxes will help. The first impression is going to be to think about the poor and if taxes are cut, they are the first to be hurt. And since they don't have any money to start with, how does a tax cut help them? Most of the poor pay little to no taxes already.

Now Your Paper:
Okay so after reading your prompt, you really do need to elaborate on what the government should do. You mention taxes, but you need to explain how, what taxes exactly, and essentially you need to give a hypothesized outcome of this decision. You should try persuading your reader. Another idea would be to not simply state your opinion, (I.E. In my honest opinion…..) but rather leave no other alternative. Try something like: It is clear that….. Or, It is necessary that. Catch my drift? Be assertive and quite literally demonstrate to your reader that this is so solid, that there isn't even a need for opinion, that it is merely fact.
Hope this helps :)
I could write more, but alas my fingers hurt.

2. The GOP bill makes way more sense and it would be much more effective, however the sheep will believe anything their radical messiah tells them.

3. Sorry for your family woes….you will not get too many intelligent responses from them…a few denials and some ignorance will be posted
if they bother to read it all…

4. Check with your local Catholic Social Services, they have several places in the Detroit Metro area. They may be able to help you, or at least point you to a place that can.

5. supposedly part of the premium will be paid by the gov. if you are low income,.

TRUST me!!! i ahve read this things over and it is GARBAGE, nowhere in the united states constitution does it say we have to buy health insurance, and come 2014 it will be twce as expensive as it is now.

6. If you impose mandates, then you have to control costs. There are no two ways around it.

How do you control costs? You control costs through a single payer system. That's the point of a single payer system, it is to control costs.

So if any health care reform bill imposes health insurance mandates, then it should also compel health providers to charge no more than what they charge Medicare for the same service or product. Otherwise, mandates are simply a method of transferring wealth from your pocket to the private health insurance industry.
