Where to buy family health insurance?I want to buy family health insurance. I have two kinds aged 5 and 7 years and my wife in the family. What could be the options for the same?
Their health insurance is important to them, they just don't give a flying hump about anybody else's.
It is a good point that we put luxeries before Health Insurance, however consider what other people are saying about denied claims. Really look at whats happening in a health insurance company:
They take your money, fee based on your calculated risk to them.
They reinvest your money for their own benefit, pay employees, and commission for the sale of insurance policy.
They have an entire department (usually the largest part of the company) to find ways to deny your claims, fees, ect
They then pay out as little as possible, often denying many items which should be covered.
Extra profits from denied claims go to shareholders, investors, and corporate bonuses.
Oh they also sell your information as well, just without your name on it

Why do we give our money to evil corporations only to set up a fight to get it back? They are obviously extremely good at spending OUR money, and making winning bets that say we won't cost them more money then they collect.
Last thing we need is a Mandatory Health Insurance, like Auto Insurance which FORCES people to pay whatever the Insurance Industry determines a profile should pay.

Is it possible to keep your mouth shut in a country that has freedom of speech? Some women in poor countries such as in Africa have no choice because there aren’t laws to protect them! Well, in the U.S. you should keep your pants on.

um, thats not how it works. people like you create inflated insurance for the rest of us. have you ever sat down and did the math on how things like insurance work? thats like getting into a car accident, totally out your car, and then calling progressive to sign up for an insurance policy and asking them to cover your accident that happened earlier that morning. theres a reason why people are required to carry car insurance and health insurance should be a requirement as well. for people like you who don't want it. until you need it, and then want to screw the rest of us over. Now, requiring what TYPE of insurance i carry, or who i carry it THROUGH should be up to me. i don't beleive that the government need anymore assistance programs. Im fed up with my paycheck going to Welfare Juanita and her 10 illegitimate kids. I work with a woman who this year made $9000 at work, and received $14000 in assistance and taxes from the government (including her free schooling that she dropped out of after two semesters). She's been "on the system" for 30 years, and still complains that she can't do for herself.
well guess what?!? i work too! i go to school too! i drive a crappy car too! I volunteer 20 hours a week with kids in my community!! DO I GET ANYTHING IN RETURN?? nope. i didn't get knocked up and live off other peoples paychecks all my life, so no one in the government is going to help me. The government only helps people who spend their days standing in line for handouts While the people who actually DESERVE help are too busy working to stand in line. Public Assistance that is not disability related should be granted on emergenct basis and limited to 12 months for a 10 years span. If you cant get your crap together in a full year, no one else should be left responsible for you.
and no, as a conservative, i am not filthy rich. my household income barely broke 30k for my husband and myself this year. but i work to make sure we are taken care of, that we have health insurance, and that we can do for ourselves. thats WHY we hate the bleeding heart democrats. because they want to ration out everything we have to whoever they determine is "needy" regardless of how hard we work for what little we have.

You have the right to get sick with cancer, heart disease, liver disease etc. and die.
You have the right to shoot your neighbour and make him die.
You have the right to put on a uniform and put yourself between your rich neighbour and a bullet and tell yourself you are fighting for your country even when you know you are fighting for rich people to keep their gas guzzling cars when there are other forms of power available. Oh yeah and you might die. Or end up on the street sleeping under a newspaper. The rich are so grateful for your efforts on their behalf.
And you have the right , if you are rich, to force your fellow Americans to live with all these rights and to call yourself a Christian though I can well imagine Jesus cringing in a corner at what "Christians" do to their fellow man in the Land of Opportunity down there.
Hang in there. Cancer, Lou Gerhig's Disease, Liver Disease, Heart Disease etc etc, are not Americans. They have no allegiance. And they do not discriminate. They hit the rich and the poor alike. And Insurance companies like to disown people who are rich initially, but not filthy rich, who need more expensive treatment than the Insurance company decides it can handle.
And the filthy rich will leave their not so hard worked for (hard conned maybe) money to their kids who often turn out to be spoiled, lazy, boozing, snorting or mainlining little brats who squander all their parent's money. So you see, the poor will eventually inherit the world. So hang in there kiddo. Any day now too, I think. especially if they keep polluting the air and the water and ditching their garbage indiscriminately so that the soil is also polluted.
But I think I will stay in MY Land of Opportunity north of the border and suffer through the indignity of having Universal Health Care and be grateful that, while not everyone up here is a Christian, most have one Christian edict in common – Do unto others as you would they do unto you. That means Universal Health Care among other things.
oh my gosh, SELL IT! i don't want to downplay the difficulty of choosing to sell it, but, especially since there is no real sentimental value (given what an arse your gma was), i mean, this is exactly the reason why we hold onto valuable things "until we need them." you need it now. the image of you dealing with the bus and school and all that: ugh. this will change your life in many more ways than the obvious ones. think of the shift in your state of mind after dealing with all these transportation issues on a freezing cold day! i would have done this and more to maintain my status as a SAHM — and i wasn't breastfeeding OR parenting a second/older child. i would have sold anything i own. nothing is more valuable to me than giving ruby this time in the most secure, stree-free, happy way possible. i am fortunate that all i've had to give up are the "little" things — but that could change any day, and i always think about that. i really do NOT see you kicking yourself down the road. on the contrary, from what i know of you, i think you will kick yourself down the road if you don't sell it to maintain what you've set up for his infancy. you can always make money later. you can not recreate his earliest years for him, for his brother, or for yourself. do it! sell it!!!!!!
