We all hate to go to the dentist because it can be expensive and if you do not have insurance it can cost you a pretty penny. The first thing you want to do is check with your employer and see if they offer dental insurance coverage and in most cases you can add is to your current health care coverage plan.If they do not offer any thing you are going to have to search online for a low cost option.

When you start your search online you want to find a website that will let you search for many quotes from different companies. You need to compare not only the price but also the policy coverage that you will receive. You need to make sure that you get a dental plan that is affordable and also has enough coverage in case you need major dental work. You will find that if you only need a cleaning once or twice a year then you can find a maintenance dental plan that is an expensive.

What countries have national dental insurance? I currently live in Canada, we have free health insurance, but not dental. icon sad Find Dental Insurance That You Can Afford I am a 21 year old finishing college and going to university next year, after that I'd live to establish myself in a country with benefits of free health, dental, and vision care.

  1. I would get into a dentist that would be willing to work with you. You could also try your local superstore (Wal*Mart) or drugstore to see if they have an emergency dental clinic.

In the meantime, Walgreens (and I am sure others) carry temporary filling kits. Please see the links below.

    Good luck.

  2. Have her go to social services and apply for emergency aid, she might offer to make payment's back they might look favorably on the offer of repayment even if it is a small amount monthly. good luck! http://www.state.hi.us/dhs

  3. Okay, first it depends on where you live, if you login to your metlife account you should be able to pull up your package, and it should tell you what the max charge should be from your Dr. office. Then you'd need to know what % they pay of the treatment. Did you get a written estimate from the Dr. office for what they will be charging you? If you did then use that to calulate your copay. If you have a deductible then you need to subtract that from the total first then multiply that number times the % that metlife pays. That will give you the total that your Dr. office will get from the insurance company, (as long as it doesn;t go over the max.) The remaining amount is your out of pocket costs. I can't give you specifics because every area has different fees for the procedures

  4. Try contacting your local dental society or visit their website to get the names of dentists and dental clinics that provide free and sliding scale care.

  5. I know of two places in Florida where you can get affordable dental care (fees about half that of a private dentist):

University of Florida's College of Dentistry at Gainesville, and

Nova Southeastern University's School of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale.

    Hope this helps.

  6. health-quotes.isgreat.org – my family have this health insurance. It is affordable and has good coverage for dental issues.

  7. Try a dental training school

  8. The first link below lists low-cost or sliding scale
dental clinics in Seattle and surrounding areas.
You might also try the UW School of Dentistry
(the second link) although they may have a longer
    waiting period.

  9. I think this will help you…good luck!
